The NFIP network members attended the annual UEFA Safety and Security Conference which took place on the 1st of September in Istanbul. This year’s edition of the event, the first one after three years of pause to be organized on site and in-person, reunited approximately 400 safety and security professionals – NFIP, Police, Clubs, National Associations, and other partners in order to discuss the latest safety and security challenges related to UEFA football matches and enhance the cooperation.
The Chair of the NFIP network, Adrian Dinca, was involved in one of the conference panels, dedicated to Match operations and preparations, in which he presented the NFIP and policing perspective in this regard.
At the end of the conference, a session dedicated to information exchange for the upcoming UEFA competition season was organized and attended by the safety officers and police representatives of the qualified clubs. This included members of the NFIP network and respective national delegates.
